Ranchero is the company responsible for two of my favorite Mac software applications, NetNewsWire and its companion weblog editing software, MarsEdit.
DrunkenBlog has a great interview with Brent and Sheila Simmons, the husband-and-wife team who (along with their Mr. Coffee machine) are the people behind Ranchero.

DrunkenBlog has a good article on the recently-released CherryOS Mac emulator for PCs being nothing more than stolen code from PearPC and other open source projects.
I recently tried out both PearPC and CherryOS on a 2.4Ghz Pentium 4 machine running Windows XP, and while neat, I certainly wouldn’t recommend either for production OS X development in terms of speed or full compatibility features.
